Color Mixing

How fascinating it is to create new colors! And how exciting to discover how you can mix them to create an infinity of new colors and tones! Your kids and pupils will enjoy being painters with these free Color Mixing Worksheets!

First of all, we offer you a reference sheet in color that includes 6 rows of 3 paint splatters. Thanks to a plus sign, we show how 2 colors combine to create a third one. Besides, the name of the color is written inside each paint splash. We even included the 3-color combination to create brown. You will also find the same reference sheet in black and white. Finally, there is an activity sheet on which children must color each of the paint spots and name the missing colors.

These free Color Mixing Worksheets are ideal for primary school educators to teach color mixing to their first graders until 5th graders. Homeschooling parents and ESL/EFL teachers alike will also enjoy this great activity.

Includes 2 design options (2 pages) for printing: color and black and white (ink-saver alternative with minimum background).
